Theater-buff-turned-marketing-entrepreneur Stephanie Schloss helps her clients score sold out productions using today’s most innovative, data-driven strategies in digital advertising.

For nearly a decade, Stephanie worked at big ad agencies, helping leading brands like Audi, Mars Chocolate, and IBM make the most of their advertising dollars and reach their most lucrative markets. But Stephanie soon became dismayed: Why was it only the top-dollar clients and their big agencies who had access to a solid media plan?

Before long, Stephanie singled out a common set of tools and tactics responsible for her biggest advertising successes. It became her mission to share these tools with a community close to her heart: up-and-coming performers, directors, and producers, eager to share their art with a bigger audience.

Raised in Connecticut, Stephanie has fond memories taking Metro-North into Manhattan with her grandmother to catch the latest Broadway matinees. And although her high school attempts at stage acting did not exactly result in any Tony nominations, Stephanie has combined her deep love for the performing arts with her knack for analytical thinking to support her cherished theater community behind the scenes.

Today, Stephanie plans advertising for all types of shows— from mimes and magicians to blockbuster Broadway musicals. She manages social media advertising for iconic shows like Hamilton, Chicago, and A Strange Loop, and has led wider advertising efforts for Lincoln Center Theater, Park Avenue Armory, and the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

If my decade in this industry has taught me one thing, it’s that successful digital advertising is neither a dark art nor a combination of lucky breaks.
